The computer center is located at
one of the main network nodes of Europe. Here we are
specially equipped for the outsourcing of critical
Internet applications, in order to meet the high
needs of our customers and visitors from around the
world with highly available and high performance
telecommunications platforms.
Data center facility:
The excellent availability is based on the broadband
multiple redundant network connections (9.6 Gbit/s
each) to the backbone (STM-64) in the EURO RING.
From a scheduling point of view, we ensure the
around-the-clock operation by monitoring the network
management 24/7/365. Our servers and applications
are monitored constantly by a location-independent
Network Operation Center (NOC): 24 hours a day, 7
days a week.
All these measures keep failure times to a minimum
and ensure a highly available operation of your
website and business application.
Early fire recognition
Fire alarms covering the entire area ensure an early
warning in case of fire. These alarms are equipped
with a direct connection to the local fire
department. The early fire recognition system
constantly monitors all sensors to ensure their
functionality. Errors generate an alarm.
Firefighting:
Professional and quick firefighting is ensured due
to the direct connection to the fire department.
Monitoring:
A multilevel security plan protects the technical
facilities from unauthorised access or other
intrusions.

Air cooling & handling
system:
The computer center is equipped with high
performance air conditioning system. Its star
topology with redundant pump systems provides
independently controllable air conditioning of all
rooms. The typical temperature fluctuation in the
technology rooms is less than 0.2 degrees Celsius.
Backbone:
The modern computer center is directly and
redundantly connected to one of the most significant
network nodes of Europe. Due to the redundancy and
scalability of all critical components, it fulfils
the high requirements for availability, security and
performance. The network connection is
multi-redundant, broadband and directly to the
backbone in the EURO RING.
Power supply:
We also emphasise the system stability and
redundancy of the power supply. The systems for
supplying power are based on redundant external
connections with separate house connections as well
as redundant UPS systems on the basis of accumulator
batteries. If necessary, diesel power generators are
used to maintain the supply of power.
