Have you ever received spam seemingly sent from your own email address?
Protection from spoofed emails: The spoofing protection offered by Innter.Net© reliably prevents the spoofing of email addresses by using SPF (= Sender Protection Framework).
Procedure: Put simply, SPF tells other mail servers: "I am using these mail servers for my email addresses. If another mail server claims to be able to send emails with my email address, it must be fake". Now, if someone sends an email message to you, the sending mail server contacts your Innter.Net© mail server. Innter.Net© uses SPF to publish the addresses of the active mail servers. When the message comes in, the mail server can determine if the sender belongs to your email address or not. The aim of SDF is to protect from damage to reputation due to spammers.
Administration: Management of the email spoofing protection occurs via the convenient web interface of the Innter.Net© CustomerCenter. There you can (de)activate email spoofing protection for your desired domain name.
