The Quarantine Storage is storage space for unneeded emails, which is reserved for messages quarantined by Innter.MailScanner.
The quarantine is used for intermediary storage of unneeded emails, before they are finally deleted.
This intermediary storage of messages in the quarantine means that they can be restored before the final deletion if required. Messages that have been recognized as spam are also quarantined, and so can also be restored if required.
