Phishing Phishing is a form of confidence trick on the internet. It works by sending emails to recipients and trying to fool them into disclosing access data and passwords. In a phishing attack, the victim usually receives an email containing a link to an apparently known website. However, when clicking on this link the phishing victim is actually directed to a fake internet page without being aware of it. Phishing-Filter The Phishing-Filter offers great protection from attacks by faked internet pages!
This works by checking if the relevant emails are "real" or contain a link to a phishing page.
If an email contains a link to a fake internet page, that link is marked and clearly highlighted. This allows the user to realize if the link in the email is dangerous.
The Phishing-Filter is constantly up-to-date due to regular filter updates. |
