The .aero domain is reserved for companies, organizations, associations, government agencies and individuals connected to aviation and related industries (the "Aviation Community"). No matter if flight attendant, model maker or gliding flight club - they all are eligible for a .aero domain name. Eligibility is checked through the Community Membership ID. If you do not aet have your Community Membership ID will gladly apply for this id at no additional cost.
Currently two-letter codes at .aero are reserved for airlines according to the IATA airline designators, while three-letter codes are reserved for airports, according to the IATA airport codes.
