Manage the settings for your domain name(s) in DNS management:
A-Records (address entries)
Each A-Record determines an IP address under which
a domain name can be reached.
Domain name:
IP address:
www.your-sampledomainname.tld
123.456.789.123
your-sampledomainname.tld
123.456.789.123
mail.your-sampledomainname.tld
123.456.789.123
Of course you can enter your desired IP addresses
here, so that each of
your domains can be freely configured.
Here you can also create subdomains and allocate
the desired IP addresses.
MX-Records (Mail Exchanger
entries)
MX entries determine which mail server is responsible
for the e-mail
traffic of a specific domain.
Domain Name:
Mail Exchanger:
your-sampledomainname.tld
mail.your-sampledomainname.tld
CNAME-Records (Canonical
Name entries) With CNAME entries you can determine
aliases of domain names and so create a forwarding
function for example.
TXT Records With TXT records you can define
free entries, e.g. for SPF.
TTL settings TTL is the abbreviation for "time
to life", this is the validity period of a record.
You may coose this value arbitrary.
